Thebandhani pattern is created with a lot of love and precision - the pattern is first dotted on the plain white cotton fabric.Once the markings are in place, the artisan and his entire family work together to wrap thread around each dot. The fabric is then dyed in colour . Once dry, the threads are unwrapped, creating a beautifully intricate pattern with base colour and the top colour.
The shirt is a labour of love.
NOTE : Each shirt has been created with a lot of love, by hand. Hence, they may have some imperfections and colour bleed. We feel these imperfections are testimony of the work that has gone into it and hence make them more beautiful.
